In Thomas Moore's book Care of the Soul, he reminds us that before anything can come into being, it must be imagined. "Imagination before being."

Butterflies symbolize this transformation of imagination before being. What many don't realize is that when a caterpillar creates its chrysalis, its body completely dissolves into a goo called "imaginal cells." The caterpillar is no more, and the butterfly is not yet created. The imaginal cells hang in the balance between what was and what will be, a period of stillness. These cells eventually align, creating the structure and form of a butterfly. Imagination before being. 

Imaginal Goo: Metamorphosis through Clarity, Connection, and Intuitive Practice is a two-day, 5 hour workshop on listening to, understanding, and practicing your intuition. This workshop offers you a chance for change through using your imagination and intuition to find stillness and eventual transformation.
